About the Smart Manufacturing Center
The Smart Manufacturing Center at El Camino College was established in June of 2024 to assist in the implementation of a Department of Energy (DOE) grant that funds no-cost programs intended to assist small and medium-sized businesses to adopt Smart Manufacturing processes and technologies.
Our mission is to provide Smart Manufacturing education, training, and consulting services that increases productivity, efficiency, and agility, as well as enhanced quality and sustainability.

El Camino College has received a three-year grant from the Department of Energy (DOE) to incentivize California’s small and medium sized manufacturers (SMMs) to adopt Smart Manufacturing processes and technologies.
